This enhancement ensures that you have quick and easy access to important news, tips, and insights right within your workspace. Simply click on a post to read more, or click the ‘view more’ button to go directly to the news blog.

New ‘library’ function in symlearning
At the very top of your symlearning dashboard you will now see a button called “Browse Library” – as you can see here in our screenshot (above). Here you can search for words across the entire learning library.
It is super easy to use, have a look at our example screenshot (below) – in this example we are searching the library for the words “sales” and this delivers us search results for all the courses related to sales!
Please note: the library feature is not available in the free symlearning area.
Refine your search results even further!
Use the filters on the left hand side of the library screen to refine the search results by type!
Filter by “Type”
In symlearning we currently have a 3 types, courses, microlearning and learning pathways, here’s what each type means:
- “Learning Pathways” have multiple courses and microlearning lessons assigned to them and each pathway reflects a different store role, from the front to the back of the store and everywhere in between.
- “Courses” refer to our structured courses that have multiple lessons, quizzes, lesson reviews, different learning styles as well as certifications and downloadable reference guides upon successful completion.
- “Microlearning” refers to function specific learning – they generally take under 20 minutes ideal for upskilling or refresher training.
Save Favourites! ♥
You can also save courses as “favorites”. Just click the love heart on the course or learning pathway and it will place it in your favourite area allowing even easier and faster navigation.

We are currently putting the final touches on the following new symlearning courses:

- Creditors Invoice Entry
- Creditors/Suppliers Introduction
- Margin Level Discounts
- COD/Layby
- EPG Builder
As soon as these new courses are released we will post an update on our blog and also email enrolled symlearners so they know they are available on their dashboards.
Make sure you are enrolled in the full symlearning suite to gain access to all our courses. Whilst the free area of symlearning offers some excellent micro introduction courses, it is limited to just a few courses, our full symlearning offering however has over 75 courses on offer at the moment with more being released each month.
