The 2026/27 Payroll tax scales will be released Sunday night 28th June - do not apply the tables until after the 1st of July 2026.
To update your Payroll Tax tables, download the software update and follow the steps to apply it in the Tax Formula Maintenance section.

Collect Software Updates
Refresher Steps
- On your sympac home screen click the 'Options' button.
- Then select 'Updates'
- Finally select 'Collect Software Updates'
Update Tax Table
Refresher Steps
- On your sympac home screen select Payroll, then Maintenance followed by Tax Formula Maintenance
- Select 'Apply Default Rates' then select the tax table (in this instance we are selecting Tax Table 2026/27) and then select OK
- A pop up message will then let you know that the new tax formulas have been loaded.
